If your family is game for a sunrise session, I jump all over it because that lighting at dawn is some of my favorite light! I got to hang with this family again this year and we switched it up with a sunrise session at the Virginia Beach pier. It was a perfect fall morning for a sunrise beach session. The air was still warm enough, but not humid and had a hint of fall coming in. As always, the light was on point.
I always try and capture each family’s individual vibe. Sessions with older children can really make for some wonderful shots and this family proves that with every session we do. We combed the beach. Got hit by waves and I walked to my car salty, sandy and with a huge smile.
These are the sessions I am always so grateful for. The real moments, letting a family let loose for a good 45 minutes and capturing their story along the way.
