There is something so special about those first couple weeks home with new baby. The flow of a new reality. Watching baby adjust to their home. Watching new expressions. Seeing how the siblings interact with baby. The curiousity. The joy. Just a few reasons why I love newborn lifestyle photography.
I am in the middle of a rebrand and along with it I have switched all my newborn sessions over to in-home newborn lifestyle sessions. I love capturing every little moment and detail as it is. Whether it is your first, second, third or fourth child, capturing a family in their OWN environment all together is truly something special. I am excited to have made the switch, as that is where my heart is. At the end of each session, we will still get some “light posing” with “light props”. So when this family inquired for a newborn session, it was perfect timing! Take a perfect bundle of joy, with an adoring (and ADORABLE) sibling, along with two sweet parents, in their home in Virginia Beach and magic happens.
Baby Slate is one adorable little thing. He sure loves being cuddled, and we made sure to get lots of that in during our session. Sometimes he just wasn’t feeling me, and that is totally ok. I mean I am the weird lady oohing and ahhing at everything he does with a camera to my face. BUTTTT, he also had some perfect smiles (when you scroll down, you’ll see!) He was pretty much perfection and there is nothing I would of changed about this session.
He is such a beautiful fit for this family and I am so excited for these guys as a new family of four!
