Oh how I love soft fall evenings on the beach. The weather is just a little cooler and the light is a little shorter (which means earlier sessions).
I met this sweet family over Christmas last year for a family session when they were visiting her mom in Virginia Beach. They now live here in the area and I was thrilled to be able to do a family session for them for their sweet little girl’s first birthday.
We chose one of my favorite beach spots in Virginia Beach down on 89th street. Less crowds, beautiful grassy dunes and the way the light pours in makes my heart smile.
This little ray of sunshine was all smiles for her session. She LOVED the water. Literally would dive in as soon as we put her down. I’m pretty sure she’s a mermaid in real life. But shouldn’t we all be?
