This family. No seriously. This family was AWESOME and totally rocked their magic hour family session in Virginia Beach this month.
I know mom from the gym. We share a love/hate relationship with running and like to talk about how much we hate but love running. I mean, isn’t that what runners do? Anyway, when she inquired about a session she said it’s been quite a few years since they had family pictures done. The words a photographer gets sad hearing. Haha. BUTTT, I was totally stoked she chose me as her family photographer and was excited to start planning their session.
Naturally, the session had to be done at magic hour (the time before the sun sets and everything is a “magic glow”) and it had to be done at one of my favorite spots in Virginia Beach. Those who have had sessions with me here, agree it’s killer location.
4 boys, 2 of them 3 year old twins. Let me repeat that. FOUR BOYS, TWO OF THEM BEING 3 YEAR OLD TWINS. I was totally prepped for some running around, toddler chasing, maybe some meltdowns and I had some tricks in my left pocket. And you know what? I didn’t even need them. They were amazing and their session was a breeze. The boys were so well behaved, listened to direction like it was nothing and all of them with manners a mama would be (and should be) proud of. We breezed through the session in 30-45 minutes tops!
