EKKKKK!! I can’t even believe this little guy is one already. I remember photographing their pregnancy announcement photos (in the woods!!) and then their sweet in-home newborn session 8 months later, a family vacation in OBX and last month we shot his first birthday session!
Time does go so quick, but I am super thankful I get to capture all these memories for my growing families. Taking each milestone and freezing it in time for them to always remember the way it was.
We choose a simple woodland theme for his cake smash, and it came together perfectly. The baby shower was the same theme so I love how all of this came full circle.
Cake smashes with littles are funny. Not all kids love the cake, seriously, they just don’t. Some love, love love it. Some are like “NOOOO!!! CAKEEEEE” (who are you child? haha), and then there is some like Jackson who wasn’t sure which way he wanted to go but as per usual, rocked his first birthday session with pure joy.
I love capturing each little step of this dude, he is simply picture perfect and my camera loves him. Thanks “W” Family for always having me be a part of these special times!
