I always love shooting in new and different places and taking a road trip to a shoot. I have had my fair share of Outer Banks (OBX) sessions this summer and I always graciously take them on if I can when people inquire. I literally live an hour and 10 minutes from OBX and its such a little slice of heaven.
Last month, I took a trip down there to photograph some clients who are also friends of my husband and I and capture their sweet memories together. This is my husband’s Air Force buddy’s family whom we haven’t seen in almost 7 years! I have also done little man’s newborn photos recently, as well as the pregnancy announcement. I LOVE watching my Nicella kids grow. The journey of this business is a sweet one and I always treasure how I get to capture each different phase.
The lighting that night out in Nags Heads was just perfect. Soft light in the Outer Banks is one of my favorite things, and that night it did not disappoint. It’s so much fun to capture each and every family dynamic.
