I LOVE a good beach session. I could shoot on the beach every night if my schedule allows. There is something about salt air that just makes me feel alive and happy, throw a camera in hand and life is on point.
I have been doing family sessions out in Sandbridge for families who travel to Virginia Beach for vacation for a few years now. But this summer has so much Sandbridge love, I am thinking I need my own house there. Just kidding. Kind of. Typically with Sandbridge sessions, I only get to see my families once, as they are travelers all over the country.
However, I do have a few families who vacation out there once a year or once every other year and they request a family session. I love seeing how much the kids have grown, that’s always my favorite, especially when there are babies involved.
I photographed this family two years ago and was more than happy to do another session for them again this year. They are a FUN bunch. Totally my people, so we just jive and that makes a fantastic session.
It was a hot week that week, but the beach was perfect, we had no rain and we captured some fun stuff. I love being able to freeze these memories for each and every family. The littles grow so fast and time goes even quicker, so capturing these moments, especially in a vacation town makes me a very happy Virginia Beach Family Photographer.
