I love meeting new families who are new to Nicella Photography and having a session with me. It’s always fun to capture a family for the first time and get to know them. But I also love, new families, as in families who are new parents with children under the age of one. Life can be hectic with a baby. I mean one minute they are laying in a crib sleeping and pooping the day away and the next minute they are sitting up on their own and getting ready to crawl. Being able to gift families the gift of where time stands still. Where they can look back and remember this time that goes so quick, bottling up all those memories – that’s my jam.
First off, Dad surprised Mom with a family session for Mother’s Day. Triple double husband points right there, fellas..take notes! Secondly, we originally had this session planned for a different location but when we arrived the location was blocked off and we couldn’t shoot there. Thankfully, we were super close to 89th street beach and we all know that’s one of my favorite spots for a Virginia Beach family session so we set up shop over there.
I had so much fun capturing the warmth of this family. Watching new parents interact with their little one is something I adore capturing on camera. From snuggles to giggles to bright smiles all around, this session is one for the books. Thanks Devoe family for a great evening!
