Last month my daughter celebrated her 7th birthday. I can’t quite put into words how hard it was for me to accept the fact that she was turning 7. Not a toddler anymore, but growing into a girl. Like an older girl. Ella is unique in her own way. An old soul, with a huge heart is how I describe her. Her fashion sense is better than my own and she seems up on the trends before I even know what’s going on. She loves to read and write (which makes me happy because that was totally me as a kid). She wanted to take on SIX dance classes this year and with determination and drive, she has blossomed into her 4th year of dance with grace. She loves soccer and any other sports she tries. She’s the only girl in the neighborhood playing with all the boys.
She’s sassy, but wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s kind, unless you mess with her. She’s loving, but don’t upset her. She values family and friendships so deeply and this is the one trait I am so thankful for. We build on a strong foundation of family values in our home. Friends mean a lot to us too and to us, friends are family. It’s just how we grew up and we continue to always be. She is that exact same way and I adore that about her.
We had her birthday party in the beginning of the month and had Dove and Daisy Spa bus come to the house. You guys!!! This “bus” was EVERYTHING. Literally a spa on wheels. They made Ella and her friends feel like such little princesses and the girls had a blast for those 1.5 hours. Nails, makeup, Photo Booth props and more. It was so special to see and I am so happy for the friendships she has formed at such a young age. Here’s some fun highlights from her party and if you are looking for a party for your girl of any age, contact Dove and Daisy Spa.
