Every newborn session gives me such joy. I love getting to capture a new family in their first days together. A sweet baby adjusting to his new world. I anxiously await the email or phone call that the baby has been born and now we can schedule his newborn session.
We photographed this sweet couple’s pregnancy announcement back in June! Oh how quick time goes by!
Baby Jackson was due in January. And after 40 weeks and 5 days, he decided it was time to make his grand entrance. On January 14 at 4:58AM, after 18 hours of labor he was born. He came into the world at 7 pounds, 11 ounces and 21.5 inches long of pure perfection.
On the day of his newborn session, he slept the ENTIRE time (except the last 15 minutes, which I was happy for because I like to get some awake shots as well)! Dream session? Quite possibly.
Oh he’s so so perfect, you guys. And his parents are so in love with him. The journey of parenthood is one of the most beautiful things in the world. I am so happy I got to capture these special moments for this family.
