Red, white, blue, anchors and cake! This cake smash was everything nautical and perfect for this little dude. The cake smash is probably my favorite session ever. It’s the milestone session and if you have a little one turning one, I highly recommend!
I met this little one last fall when I photographed his 6 month session. He was barely sitting up and I had to Photoshop out mom’s hand in every picture so we could play it safe with him and he didn’t tumble. A couple months later, we did his Christmas session and his stability was so much better. Crawling was a new thing for him. And just a few short weeks ago I photographed his first birthday cake smash session, where he was crawling and standing.
His mom booked his cake smash back in December and we have been planning ever since! Everything nautical and fun. He REALLY loved the cake, and was very serious about it. We may have had a cry or two, but no cake smash is complete without one!
I can’t even tell you how much I LOVE watching my little clients grow. When I found out he and his family are moving away from the area very soon, I got so sad! I was honored to be able to capture the first year of his life and he will always be one of my happiest littles!
