Dear Nicholas,
It’s your seventh birthday. You are becoming such a big boy, but yet you are still the same exact fun-loving, silly kid I remember as a baby. I feel forever indebted to you for giving me the gift of becoming a mother for the first time. For giving me joy and fulfilling my heart with a love I didn’t even know could exist.
Time goes so fast and you are growing so quickly and you are 7. SEVEN. On your 7th birthday, I want to thank you for being my son. For always being the silly boy with ALL the answers. For your big heart and your wanting to be friends with everyone. For seeing the good in everything and your positive ways. For being a protector, and an idol to your little sister. For your loud laughter and a smile that brights up the room. For although sometimes you drive me crazy, I know it’s all in fun and your longing to bring a smile to someone’s face. Thank you for being my son and thank you for being YOU!
Time will go fast. Believe you can do and be anything you want to be in life. Believe in yourself. Your dreams. And never give up. Mommy & daddy will always support you in what you want to do and become (within reason of course ; ) and we KNOW you will succeed in anything you put your mind time because you are YOU. Determined. Driven. Proud.
