Last month I wrote a blog post about having more time and everything I was going to strive to do as a business owner, mother and wife to have more time. Well time went by and to be honest, I haven’t followed it, until now.
I finally gave my notice to my little part time restaurant job, result? A little more time. I am extremely thankful I was able to do that and give my notice with busy season approaching this weekend on my photography calendar.
So last week, I gave myself a job. A project. I wanted to do something that I felt like I was missing out on when it was always right in front of me. The little moments of my everyday life. I decided to document a normal day with my little peeps. I wanted to remember every moment of their day from getting up in the morning to brushing their teeth to after school play to dinner meltdowns until bed time. I mean we all go through the motions of every day life, but do we ever sit back and take it all in? I know I don’t. I never let myself live IN the moment, I am always thinking ahead, planning the next big thing and worrying about what’s next. Before I know it months go by. I mean seriously, is it April already?
So I took a whole day, uninterrupted with my new “free time”, and captured all those little moments I seem to have forgot about on a day to day basis. Life is short. Life is precious. And we all know life goes too fast.
Come see the little moments of my day and how I froze time on the simple things in my everyday life.
